Outpatient Mental Health Services are clinic-based, and community-based treatment services using evidence-based practices, offered at home and school, for individual children and adolescents with serious emotional disorders and for family members in crisis. It helps children and their families alleviate suffering, recover from trauma, restore and maintain a healthy level of day-to-day functioning, and work toward optimal growth and development at home and in the community.

Outpatient Services include:

  • Individual therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Early childhood services
  • Social skill development
  • Psychological testing
  • Case management
  • Crisis intervention
  • Treatment for children and families affected by child sexual abuse

Referrals are made to our Client Services Center from the County Department of Social Services, County Department of Family and Children Services, County Department of Mental Health, Juvenile and Adult Probation Departments, school systems, private therapists, or other programs within Uplift Family Services, as well as from the families themselves.
