This service is available in the following region(s):
Fast Track provides short-term, intensive services to families who are involved with the child welfare system for the first time. The goal of Fast Track is to keep families safely together by providing support during the family’s crisis, delivering the necessary care and teaching coaching and parenting skills.
An Uplift Family Services counselor works with a county social worker and the family to develop a plan built upon the family’s strengths, values and culture. Through this planning process, the family is connected to community resources that will support their continued success after discharging from the Fast Track program. Services usually last 3-4 months. Families must be referred to the Fast Track program by their child’s social worker.
