The Fresno Region is home to California’s Central Valley—the agricultural capital of the world. There is a large population of migrant families, as well as people of Southeast Asian and Hispanic descent.
The biggest behavioral needs include recovery from trauma and abuse, stress-related disorders, substance abuse and behavioral issues.
This region has one of the highest poverty rates in the county, as we typically address both mental health and basic needs, such as food and clothing, with families. We support not only the children, but the entire family, which exponentially increases our positive impact on them and their community.
