Uplift Family Services 24/7 Intensive Family Services (Residential Program) program is a highly structured, 24-hour-a-day treatment program that provides a nurturing place for children to live in a neighborhood setting. Through a strength-based, family centered planning process, the team works in partnership to identify what skills and resources are needed.
A plan may include the following on an as-needed basis:
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication management
- Individual, group and family therapy
- Skill building and behavioral support services
- Crisis intervention
- Psycho-education to caregivers related to their child's special needs.
The goal of 24/7 Intensive Family Services is to stabilize children's behavior and improve their daily functioning so that they can return to and maintain their lives in a permanent family home.
For children who cannot safely return to their families of origin, Family Finding services are available to locate other relatives who may be able to provide a safe, loving, and supportive home.
